Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
- Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
- Meet & greet by our safari guide
- Transfer to your hotel in Arusha for rest & safari briefing
- Overnight at Arusha Serena Hotel / Similar (BB)
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
- Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hrs drive)
- Game drive in the park, famous for large elephant herds & iconic baobab trees
- Picnic lunch in the park
- Evening drive to Karatu for overnight stay
- Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge / Similar (FB)
Day 3: Tarangire to Central Serengeti
- Scenic drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Highlands
- Stop at a Maasai village (optional) for a cultural experience
- Afternoon game drive in the Central Serengeti, a hotspot for predators like lions & leopards
- Overnight at Serengeti Heritage Camp / Similar (FB)
Day 4: Full Day in Northern Serengeti (Migration Hotspot)
- Early morning game drive in the Northern Serengeti, following herds of wildebeest & zebras
- Possible Mara River crossing, where crocodiles and predators wait for their chance
- Sunset game drive before returning to camp
- Overnight at Mara Kati Kati Tented Camp / Similar (FB)
Day 5: Full Day in Northern Serengeti (Migration & Predators)
- Another day exploring the Northern Serengeti
- More chances to witness dramatic river crossings and predator-prey action
- Optional hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti at sunrise (extra cost)
- Overnight at Mara Kati Kati Tented Camp / Similar (FB)
Day 6: Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti
- Morning game drive in Northern Serengeti, tracking the migration
- Drive back to Central Serengeti for more wildlife encounters
- Spotting cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, and big cats along the way
- Overnight at Serengeti Heritage Camp / Similar (FB)
Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
- Morning drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Descend into the crater for a full-day game drive, home to rhinos, hippos, and lions
- Enjoy a picnic lunch at Lake Magadi
- Overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge / Similar (FB)
Day 8: Ngorongoro to Arusha – Departure
- Scenic drive back to Arusha after breakfast
- Optional visit to Shanga Cultural Center or Arusha Market
- Lunch in Arusha before transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) for departure
