Your Tanzanian adventure begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your personal safari guide will be waiting to welcome you. After a warm greeting, you'll be transferred to your lodge in Arusha, a peaceful town nestled at the foot of Mount Meru. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax and recover from your journey or take a brief walk around the lodge’s gardens. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart at around 8:00 AM and drive across the Great Rift Valley toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes roughly 6 hours with scenic stops and picnic lunch en route. Once inside the park, your game drive begins across the Central Serengeti—the Seronera region—renowned for its dense populations of lions and leopards, and excellent year-round wildlife viewing.
As you traverse the endless plains, be on the lookout for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes, and the elegant impala. The iconic kopjes, granite outcrops scattered across the grasslands, serve as perfect sunbathing spots for lions and scenic frames for photography. Your day concludes at your lodge or tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti, where a warm meal and the sounds of nature await.
Wake up to the serenity of the bush and enjoy a relaxed breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive. Early hours offer a great chance to spot predators returning from the night’s hunt and witness the plains coming to life with birdcalls and movement.
After the game drive, you’ll start your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a packed lunch on the way. The drive is picturesque, with chances to spot Maasai herders and wildlife along the roadside. Your overnight stay will be at a lodge or tented camp near the crater rim, offering a stunning preview of the marvels awaiting the next day.

An early start this morning as you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at around 6:30 AM for a half-day game drive. The crater, a collapsed volcanic caldera, is often described as one of the natural wonders of the world and supports over 30,000 animals, including rhinos, lions, hippos, hyenas, and large herds of zebra and wildebeest. With its permanent water sources, the crater offers exceptional wildlife viewing all year round.
After a rewarding safari and a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, you’ll ascend back up the crater wall and begin the drive back to Arusha (approximately 4 hours). You’ll arrive in the early evening, where your safari concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport, filled with memories of an unforgettable Tanzanian adventure.
