This 5-day journey is a classic wildlife safari through Northern Tanzania, designed to give you an unforgettable taste of the country’s most iconic national parks—Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. From tree-climbing lions to vast Serengeti plains and the wildlife-rich floor of Ngorongoro Crater, this safari offers a perfect balance of adventure, breathtaking scenery, and rich animal encounters. Whether you're a first-time traveler to Tanzania or returning for more, this route delivers the true essence of African safari in just a few days.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our guide will be there to meet you and take you to your hotel in Arusha. This night is all about settling in and getting ready for the safari adventure ahead.
After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel around 8:30 AM and head to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. This park is small but full of surprises—from lush forests with baboons and blue monkeys to open grasslands with giraffes, buffaloes, and maybe even the famous tree-climbing lions. If you're here in the right season, you’ll see the lake’s edge painted pink by thousands of flamingos. After the game drive, we’ll head to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
We leave after breakfast and drive towards the Serengeti, passing through the highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we descend into the plains, the landscape opens up into the endless savannahs of Serengeti. We’ll arrive in the Seronera region—one of the best areas for wildlife—just in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first Serengeti game drive, then back to camp for dinner and a night under the stars.
Start the day with a morning game drive in Serengeti while the animals are still active. After that, we make our way to Ngorongoro, with a picnic lunch on the way. We’ll drive through different types of landscapes before reaching the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. It’s an amazing place—green, rich, and full of animals all year round. Settle in for the night at a lodge near the crater.
We start early today—after a quick breakfast, we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater by 6:30 AM for a 5-hour game drive. This is a special place, home to nearly all of Africa’s major wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, hyenas, and hippos. It’s a natural zoo, but with no cages. After a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, we’ll drive back to Arusha, arriving by early evening. We'll drop you off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your plans
