This classic wildlife safari takes you through two of Northern Tanzania’s most iconic landscapes: the ancient baobab-studded plains of Tarangire and the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater. Perfect for travelers with limited time yet big expectations, this journey is designed to immerse you in rich game viewing, varied ecosystems, and breathtaking natural beauty. With each day spent in a different habitat, the safari offers a snapshot of Tanzania’s most treasured wildlife scenes—from vast elephant herds in Tarangire to the endangered black rhino in the Crater. Led by professional guides, you'll experience the heart of Tanzania in comfort and style.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your guide will be waiting to greet you with a warm welcome to Tanzania. After a brief introduction, you'll be transferred to your lodge in Arusha.
After breakfast, your safari officially begins. Our driver-guide will pick you up from your lodge at 8:30 AM, and you'll set off for Tarangire National Park, carrying a picnic lunch for a full day of wildlife viewing.
Famous for its dramatic scenery and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers an impressive introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. The park is defined by its ancient baobab trees and the life-giving Tarangire River, which attracts animals from across the region. Expect to encounter elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, and possibly cheetahs and leopards. Lesser kudu, eland, and Oryx are among the rarer species that might cross your path.
After the game drive, you will head to your selected lodge or tented camp located near the park for a relaxing evening and dinner.
