Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel in Dar es Salaam.
You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and drive to Mikumi National Park (approximately 5–6 hours). A brief stop will be made in Morogoro for lunch. Upon arrival at the park, enjoy an afternoon game drive through Mikumi’s open savannah. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and possibly lions and leopards. Dinner and overnight will be at the Mikumi Bandas, located inside the park.
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Mikumi National Park. Later, begin the return drive to Dar es Salaam, with arrival in the afternoon or early evening. Drop-off will be at your hotel, the airport, or the ferry terminal, depending on your travel plans.
