This 10-day itinerary offers a perfect mix of wildlife adventure and beach relaxation. It starts with your arrival in Arusha, followed by exciting safaris in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater where you’ll see a variety of animals in their natural habitats. After the safari, you’ll fly to Zanzibar to unwind on the beach, enjoy a sunset dhow cruise, explore Stone Town, visit a spice farm, and experience the famous Safari Blue marine tour. The trip ends with a relaxing morning before your departure.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your private driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and recover from your journey. A safari briefing will be conducted in the evening.
After an early breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park. This scenic park is famous for its large elephant herds, baobab-studded landscape, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the park. Later in the day, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Today’s journey takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to the Serengeti. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Naabi Hill Gate, followed by an afternoon game drive as you enter the endless plains of the Serengeti. Arrive at your accommodation in time for dinner.
Spend the day exploring the Serengeti, renowned for its rich biodiversity and vast savannahs. Morning and afternoon game drives provide excellent opportunities to observe wildlife including lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and, during the migration season, massive herds of wildebeest and zebras. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and rest.
After breakfast, enjoy a short game drive as you exit the Serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro. En route, you may visit a Maasai village to experience their culture and traditional way of life. Arrive at the lodge on the crater rim in the afternoon and spend the evening at leisure.
This morning, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife areas. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater before returning to Arusha in the afternoon. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, meet your driver for a transfer to your beach resort.
Spend the morning relaxing on the beach or enjoying the resort’s amenities. In the late afternoon, enjoy a private sunset cruise aboard a traditional dhow, gliding across the Indian Ocean with refreshments and light snacks on board.
Today begins with a guided historical tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its Swahili architecture and rich cultural heritage. After lunch, visit a local spice farm where you’ll learn about Zanzibar’s spice industry and sample a variety of aromatic spices grown on the island.
Set off on a full-day Safari Blue excursion. This includes dhow sailing, snorkeling in turquoise waters, a visit to a natural lagoon, and a seafood lunch served on a sandbank or uninhabited island. It’s a relaxed and enjoyable way to explore Zanzibar’s marine beauty.
Enjoy a leisurely morning at the resort before checking out. Depending on your flight time, you’ll be transferred to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward journey.
